Cleaning the whirlpool filter cartridge has never been easier!

After washing, occasionally soak the filter balls in a chlorine solution (a bucket of water with a few grams of chlorine) for 100% disinfection.

Check shape stability. Completely deformed or disintegrated balls must not be reused and must be replaced!

Don't forget the sieve insert! Fill the filter container with 12-14 washed and/or new filter balls. Close the lid. Insert the filled EGO3 filter balls filter as usual into the filter area of your whirlpool.

Or NEVER wash hot tub filter or filter balls again thanks to the extremely affordable filter balls!

You can also completely skip cleaning and just replace the filter balls.

Due to the low price for 20 years' worth of refills and the very long durability of a refill, and because the material is 100% recycled and recyclable, we have many customers who never clean filter balls. Dirty filter balls are simply replaced with new ones.

We have calculated this for you once:

20 refills of filter balls cost 99,- euros including shipping - that comes to under 5,- euros per refill - which means for a hot tub with two filters (one of which runs with the circulation pump) 30,- to 50,- euros per year.

This is still significantly cheaper than buying new filter cartridges every year.

CONCLUSION: Invest 30,- to 50,- euros per year in the original EGo3 filter balls and you NEVER HAVE TO CLEAN HOT TUB FILTER AGAIN!

Washing Filterballs – Effective Cleaning of Your Filterballs for Best Water Quality

Why is Cleaning the Filterballs So Important?

Filterballs are a modern and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional filtration systems like cartridges. They consist of specially developed fibers that effectively filter dirt particles from the water. To maintain this performance over a long period, it is important to wash the Filterballs regularly.

Benefits of Regular Cleaning:

- Longer Lifespan: By washing the Filterballs, you remove accumulated dirt, which extends the lifespan of the Filterballs.

- Consistent Filtration Performance: While excessive cleaning should be avoided to not impair the Zero Dirt effect, proper care ensures consistent filtration performance.

- Environmentally Friendly: Cleaning the Filterballs is simple and requires no chemical additives, making it an environmentally friendly solution.

How to Properly Wash Your Filterballs

Cleaning your Filterballs is a straightforward process that should be done regularly to achieve the best results. Here are the steps you should follow to wash your Filterballs:

1. Remove the Filterballs: Turn off the filtration system and carefully remove the Filterballs from the filter container.

2. Cleaning: Rinse the Filterballs thoroughly under running water. Gently squeeze them to loosen and remove dirt particles. This simple procedure is sufficient to restore filtration performance.

3. Replace: After rinsing the Filterballs for about 5 minutes, you can put them directly back into the filter container. Drying is not necessary.

Note: Cleaning the Filterballs is quick and uncomplicated. You do not need a washing machine or chemical additives, which is one of the great advantages of this filtration technology.

This method is not only time-saving but also gentle on the Filterballs. It optimally maintains filtration performance without impairing the important Zero Dirt effect. The simplicity of this cleaning method highlights the efficiency and user-friendliness of the Filterballs from EG Spa Solutions GmbH.
