We are often asked whether the choice of hot tub Disinfection method influences the filter behavior or whether the ego3 hot tub filter is compatible with various disinfectants.
ego3 always works perfectly regardless of water treatment
Basically, it can be said that the EGO³ filter always delivers its maximum performance regardless of the type of disinfection. However, some agents shorten the operating time of hot tub Filtering in general.
This question is often asked in connection with the product Spa Balancer. Spa Balancer is a good but very expensive product and unfortunately has an impact on the lifespan of a hot tub cartridge filter negative influence. Many users know this because they have to clean their old paper filters at very short intervals (often every 1-2 weeks).
